Harriet Blum, an award winning New Orleans-area photographer, was commissioned by the Loew's Hotel in New Orleans to provide more than 1,000 prints of eight original hand-tinted photographs for all 285 guestrooms in the 21-story hotel. The images were selected by Roger Ogden, of the Roger Ogden Museum of Southern Art. All of the meeting rooms were also decorated with Harriet's hand-tinted photographs.
